Tour-specific maps
Find your way around like a local, no matter what bike you’re riding. Optimized maps show popular roads and trails, as well as highlighting busy areas you can avoid.

Turn-by-turn directions
Find your way with ease. Turn-by-turn directions and alerts that warn you of upcoming turns make sure of that.

Route Recalculation
Disable route guidance and route deviation recalculation to go off-route exploring. When you want to follow the route again, the Edge Explore 2 will show you the way.

Climbpro, Astiege properly divide
See automatically the remaining rise and slope when you ride uphill and follow a route or track. This way you can estimate what effort to expect and how long it will take to get to the top. You can even save climbs to view on your device or in the Garmin Connect app after the ride.

E-bike compatibility
If you have an e-bike that is compatible with Shimano Steps or ANT+® technology, you can see a dedicated e-bike status page with data fields, such as battery life and more. Even smart routing and range alerts based on battery level, motor assist, and planned route are available.

Varia compatibility
Pair the Edge Explore 2 Power with your Varia radar for more safety while cycling. It lets you spot vehicles from up to 140 meters away and draws attention to you with its bright taillight.

Accident detection
This Edge device automatically sends a message with your location to preloaded emergency contacts when an accident is detected.

Grouptrack feature
Once paired with your smartphone, you can keep track of your fellow cyclists*. GroupTrack is available for riders who use compatible Garmin devices. With it you can track up to 50 people at once.
